On 8 September, Dr. Philipp Fluri, an expert in International politics and security, delivered a lecture on ‘Democratization and transformation of the security sector in Eastern Europe’ for a group of young activists participating in the CCDS project Youth for Pluralism and Democracy.

Tamar Khidasheli, an expert in human rights, gender and democratization issues, gave an online lecture for a group of young activists on 6 September.

The former chief of staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze delivered a lecture on Nato for participants of the CCDS project Youth for Pluralism and Democracy on 2 September.

A lecture about diversity and inclusion in defense sector – Europe’s experience was conducted on August 25, 2021, by Caecilia Johanna Van Peski, master of educational and cultural psychology

A lecture about Diversity in Politics: Britain’s and Europe’s experience was conducted on August 20, 2021, by Michael Roberts, specialist of international relations and EU studies, policy consultant to various governmental and non-governmental organizations.

A lecture about Georgian parliament: Inclusion and Diversity was conducted on August 18, 2021, by Vakhushti Menabde, lawyer, specialist of political law, professor at Ilia State University, author of various publications.

A lecture about Civil Society and Democratic Transformation was held on August 13, 2021, by Shorena Lortkipanidze, co-founder and board member of Civil Council on Defense and Security, expert in EU programmes and a professor at Tbilisi State University.

Lecture about The Model of Ethnic and Religious Cohabitation was conducted on August 10, 2021, by Giorgi Lobzhanidze, professor specialized in theology, Arabic language and literature, author and translator.

A lecture about Policy of Religious Diversity in Modern Georgia was conducted on August 6, 2021 By Rusudan Gotsiridze, bishop of Georgia’s Evangelist-Baptist church, a women’s rights activist and master of Christian theology from Ilia State University.

A lecture about Women’s rights in Georgia: Historical Perspectives and Reality was conducted on August 4, 2021 by Lela Gaprindashvili. 

July 7 marked an opening of the project “Youth for Pluralism and Democracy”, which gathers young people aged 18-25 from different regions of Georgia. 

April 26 marked an opening of the Academic Writing Project: How to Publish Papers in International Journals. 

Between 27^th of January - 11^th of February several working meetings of the participants of the trainings on diversity were conducted via Zoom platform. 

Lecture about the process of Security Policy Formation of Georgia was conducted on January 26, by the chairman of the Atlantic Council of Georgia – Vasil Sikharulidze, via Zoom platform. 

Lectures about women in military service – current situaton and challenges; and Georgian armed forces - professional vision and essential means of development, were conducted on 21-22 January 2021, by General Vakhtang Kapanadze, via Zoom platform. 

Training on Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities in Defense and Security Institutions was conducted on October 19, Via Zoom platform. 

Lectures about deterrence and different nuclear policies were conducted during September 9 - October 1, by the Stockholm University professor of international relations, Tomas Jonter.
