April 26 marked an opening of the Academic Writing Project: How to Publish Papers in International Journals. The project includes 3 phases: Phase 1 – a one-day workshop, phase 2- a half-day workshop, phase 3 – summer school/presentation of the results. The first workshop was led by invited instructors: Prof. Thomas Jonter and Prof. Benoit Pelopidas. This Academic Writing one-day workshop contained practical advice on how to improve academic writing according to the international scholars’ standards. The objective of it was to analyze the different approaches towards academic writing and to give the practical advice on how to improve the academic writing skills.
