CCDS board member Shorena Lortkipanidze took part in the workshop "Feminist Security Policy for the Black Sea Region – Opportunities and Limits of a Feminist Approach”. The workshop was held in Istanbul, Turkey on 11 June 2024.

CCDS board member Shorena Lortkipanidze participated in the workshop “Powering Up: Women in Nuclear Advancing Gender Equality” held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 23-26 April 2024. The workshop was organized by the United States National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global). 

On June 22 - 29, CCDS participated in a working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands which was hosted by the Netherlands Veterans Institute. 

CCDS participated in the European Peace Building Liaison Office (EPLO) meeting which was conducted in Brussels on June 13 – 14.  

In Autumn 2022 CCDS started its partnership with the Black Sea Women in Nuclear Network (BSWN), which was established a year ago but has already achieved impressive results in reaching out and growing.

On October 18-21 CCDS board members – Shorena Lortkipanidze and Tamara Pataraia attended first annual meeting of the Black Sea Women in Nuclear Network – Uniting Women, Leading Change, Making Waves – in Valetta, Malta. 

CCDS board members Tamara Pataraia and Shorena Lortkipanidze took part in the U.S.-Black Sea Nonproliferation Exchange Initiative U.S. Module on 3-15 September 2022. This initiative is implemented by the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and supported by the International Security and Nonproliferation Bureau of the U.S. State Department. 

CCDS board members Tamara Pataraia and Shorena Lortkipanidze took part in the US-Black Sea Nonproliferation Exchange held in Vienna on 26-30 April 2022.
