CCDS board member Shorena Lortkipanidze participated in the workshop “Powering Up: Women in Nuclear Advancing Gender Equality” held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 23-26 April 2024. The workshop was organized by the United States National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global). 
 The goal of the workshop was to provide forum for women from around the world to showcase their work and raise awareness of the importance of gender equality and intersectional approaches to diversity, equity and inclusion. 
 The workshop created for participants a professional development and networking opportunities and equipped them with practical tools and resources to make change within various organizations and professional communities.
