In 2014 the Civil Council on Defense and Security was participated in preparation of the report of the 'Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces' (DCAF) - "Evaluation of Parliamentary Powers Related to Oversight of the Defence Sector in Georgia".
The report describes and evaluates the specifics of parliamentary oversight over the security sector in Georgia and compares its current practices with established international norms and standards.
The report was distributed among Georgian state agencies, academic institutions and libraries as well as among the wide range of experts focused on democratic transformation of the security sector in Georgia.
