As part of the CCDS project “New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy”, young activists in Georgia’s Kvemo Kartli region launched a Georgian Language Speaking Club mini-project.

The club will help ethnic minority representatives to improve their knowledge of the Georgian language and communicate better with other members of society. Although the main beneficiaries of the project are meant to be young people from different ethnic groups, everyone is welcome to become a member of the club and participate.

Club meetings comprise various activities such as training, discussions, quizzes, debates and movie sessions. Young people who attend most meetings will be awarded participation certificates upon the end of the project in two months.

The project “New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy” is implemented by the Civil Council on Defense and Security and Max Planck Foundation, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
