Participants of the CCDS’ youth project “New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy” organized an art exhibition dedicated to diversity and pluralism in Batumi on 12 November.

Young artists from diverse backgrounds presented their artwork in one of Batumi’s parks and shared their personal daily experiences of diversity, such as living in ethnically and religiously diverse communities, living in one home together with several generations of the family, etc.

During the day, some artists staged art performances, others drew sketches and paintings on the spot.

On November 14, the activists launched “the Politopoly project”, a seminar and a game night for youngsters in Batumi where the latter had a chance to play an interactive socio-political board game ‘Democracy’. The event was hosted by Batumi Free Space.

The events were held in the framework of the project New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy, which is implemented by the Civil Council on Defense and Security and Max Planck Foundation, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
