The Background Radiation STATIONARY Monitoring Map has been developed by the Civil Council on Defense and Security (CCDS) and published in 26.12.2018. The work was supported by the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM).

The map is interactive and collects data in real time (in every 30 minutes) from a network of Geiger-Mueller counters installed by the CCDS in the different places of Georgia. The collected data are then processed using the special algorithm on the base of which are automatically drowned the radiation level charts which arte shown in the table bellow the map.
