An impressive series of monologue style interviews were conducted with five different women, having different ethnical, religious, professional backgrounds, showing diverse faces of women in Georgia. The idea of recording this kind of interviews emerged among the participants of Batumi training on Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities in Defense and Security institutions. Then Ana Putkaradze, International Relation’s student of Batumi State University, with the videographer Khvicha Surmanidze, recorded and prepared for publication all the monologues in the framework of the initiative called “Get Close With Diversity”(“DaiakhLove Mravalperovneba” in Georgian).

All five respondents are telling their exceptional life stories of living against stereotypes, while overcoming loads of obstacles and still being successful women even in difficult times. These are women coming from different times, believing in different values, whilst they all believe in importance of a value like Diversity. They know how their stories can strengthen all women(and not only) around us and tell it with pride out loud so everyone knows that there is always a place for women taxi drivers, civil activists with Muslim background, sailors, students from different countries, private bodyguards, military servants and much more.
