Participants of the CCDS project “New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy” organized and conducted a training course on human rights in Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakheti region on 15 October.
The training course gathered young people from different regions of Georgia. The first part of the training was dedicated to informational sessions during which attendees of the course familiarized themselves with the basic principles of democracy, human rights, women’s rights and the rights of ethnic minorities.
In the second part of the training course, participants played a game on the Kahoot platform in which they were required to answer questions around the topics of the training. Three highest scoring participants were awarded 100, 50 and 20 lari vouchers to be used in the Biblusi bookshop. All participants who attended both sessions of the trainings received electronic certificates from the organizers.
The training course was held in the framework of the project New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy, which is implemented by the Civil Council on Defense and Security and Max Planck Foundation, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
