A training "Nuclear Non-proliferation and Nuclear Security: Global Challenges and Opportunities" took place on 16-17 September 2015 in Tbilisi Marriott hotel. The training was organized by the CCDS with support of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM). Georgian officials and experts, representatives pf Swedish partnersand other international institutions attended the training.
One of the main goals of the training was to increase the knwoledge of Georgian professionals in nuclear security and improve their awarness and the level of expertise.
The training speakers addressed following topics to discusss: historical oerspective of global nuclear non-proliferation system, nuclear proliferation and nonproliferation: past and present challenges, the end of the Cold War: New challenges and opportunities for non-proliferation and nuclear Security
