The interactive map of the Radioactive Materials’ Illicit Trafficking Cases in Georgia has been prepared by the Civil Council on Defense and Security (CCDS) and published in 6.5.2019. This work was made possible thanks to support of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM).

The interactive map represents combination of time chart, physical map and the table with the cases of radioactive materials illicit trafficking in Georgia from 1999 to 2013 (data source Georgia's Nuclear Odyssey). All three components (time chart, physical map and the table) are linked with each other: clicking the bubble at the time chart will animate the relevant bubbles on physical map and the table. The same is with bubbles in the table and physical map. Please note, that positioning of the bubbles at the physical map is very approximate as the exact data of interception of illicit materials very often are not known.
