On 29 October, participants of the project “New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy” launched a new mini-project - Meskhetian stories. The project aims to explore the diversity of the Meskheti region and collect video/photo evidence of the diverse culture of Meskheti, including everyday life, traditions, architecture, cuisine, etc.
Following this exploration journey by the young activists, a short documentary was prepared which - in collaboration with the local municipality - is now played on a billboard at the city hall of Akhaltsikhe.
The project will help promote the culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, diversity and inclusion in the Akhaltsikhe municipality.
This mini-project was organized in the framework of the project New Generation for Pluralism and Democracy, which is implemented by the Civil Council on Defense and Security and Max Planck Foundation with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
