On February 12-28 four interviews were conducted with Shorena Lortkipanidze, board member of the Civil Council on Defense and Security, regarding to the Civil Council itself, its scope of work, nuclear security, radiation and proliferation polices. Interviews were recorded at TV Pirveli during two different shows – “Busy Morning” and “Women’s Narrate”

First Shorena Lortkipanidze discussed topics, such as a brief story of the Civil Council, from its launching to today, the projects and policies, that have been maintained by the council and future plans as well. The second part of the interviews was dedicated to the topic of nuclear power, radiation and non-proliferation policy. Furthermore radiation in medicine, its importance and security, within the nuclear security theme were also covered.
