The Tbilisi International Nuclear Non-proliferation Research Workshop: The Black Sea Region and the Global Nuclear Order was held on 19 june 2017 at the Courtyard Marriott Tbilisi. The workshop was organized by the Civil Council on Defence and Security with the support of Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, King's College London, Stockholm University and NPIHP (Nuclear Proliferation International History Project).
The main goal of the workshop was to answer the following questions :
What is the regional perception of Western security assurances in light of events in Ukraine?
How stable are grey zones?
Who are the more influential outside actors or are states in the region largely masters of their own fate?
