The seminar “MoD-Parliament and MoD-Media Relations in Georgia” was conducted in December 13, 2018, at the Marriott Tbilisi Hotel. The seminar was organized by the Civil Council on Defense and Security and was supported by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia and the Democratic Control of Armed forces Geneva Centre (DCAF).
In the seminar participated representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia and experts of the DCAF and the Civil Council. At the seminar was introduced and findings of the studies “Dealing with the Parliament: the Ministry of Defense – Parliament Nexus in Georgia”, “Dealing with the Media: the Ministry of Defense - media Nexus” prepared by the Civil Council on Defense and Security.
