Civil Council on Defense and Security (CCDS) organized roundtable discussion: "Nuclear Non-Proliferation Regime and New Challenges – Perspectives for Georgia", which took place on 26 November 2014 at Tbilisi Courtyard Marriott Hotel.
Representatives of Prime Minister's Office, Crisis Management and Security Council, National Security Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Health, civil society experts and academia discussed the new security environment in the light of Georgia's nonproliferation policy agenda. The roundtable also reviewed Georgia's Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear (CBRN) policy. At the end of the conference participants discussed updates related with the upcoming regional non-proliferation conference which is planned to conduct in 24-25 February 2015 in Tbilisi.
