The Export Control Outreach Workshop Global Security and Strategic Trade Management: International System and National Responses was held on 5th of December in the Parliament of Georgia. The conference was organized by Argonne National Laboratory, The Parliament of Georgia, The United States Department of State and The Civil Council on Defense and Security.

Georgia is accountable for effectively controlling dual use, radioactive and nuclear material export by creating laws due to the countries responsibility to the International Community. An important step was taken towards this direction in 2014 when Georgia introduced new legislations on export control.

The goal of the workshop was to analyze the trade control system of stratigic materials on a international and national levels with members of the Georgian Parliament, international partners buisness officials. And also discussing the new governmental structure and it's effect on the present legislations, norms and it's executive practices.
