CCDS works to support the democratic transformation of Georgia’s defense/security sector and Georgia’s NATO and EU integration, and to contribute to regional and global security and democratization processes.
To achieve the above, CCDS has been engaged in the following activities:
- conducting conferences, roundtable discussions, and training sessions with participation of representatives of the security community from Georgia, Western states and countries of the Black Sea Region
- reviewing and analyzing strategic documents and the security-related legislation
- developing and publishing reports about security issues relevant in the Georgian context
CCDS is currently implementing projects in the areas of:
- democratic oversight of security sector institutions
- global security and international nuclear non-proliferation system
